High School Eligibility Requirements

Students, grades 9 through 12, who attend Kirkwood High School, private or home-schools who meet residency requirements are eligible to play for the Kirkwood High School Men's Lacrosse team.

All players must meet the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) academic requirements.  For more detailed information on MSHSAA eligibility please click here.

MSHSAA Academic Eligibility requires:

  • Minimum of 3.0 credit hours must have been taken and passed in the prior semester.
  • Player must be enrolled in a minimum of 3.0 credit hours in the current semester.


Membership in US Lacrosse is required.  Member number and expiration date must be provided as part of registration.

Kirkwood Lacrosse welcomes players of all experience and ability.

High School Game Volunteers

Volunteers are needed at each game. *Training will be provided. Position descriptions are listed below.

Scoreboard operator - This volunteer runs the electronic scoreboard and game clock from the KHS stadium press box.  One volunteer is needed for each Varsity and JV home game.

Caller - This volunteer sits at the sideline and calls out players' goals, shots on goal, assists, saves and penalties to the field Scorekeeper.  One volunteer is needed for each Varsity and JV game (home and away). 

Scorekeeper - This volunteer sits at the sideline and records the players' goals, shots on goal, assists, saves and penalties, which the Caller calls out.  One volunteer is needed for each Varsity and JV game (home and away). 

Videographer - This volunteer will video the Varsity game using Coach Luckett's video camera.  One volunteer is needed for each Varsity game (home and away).

Field Operations Assistant
This volunteer will need to be at the KHS Stadium field at least 30 minutes before the first game of the day, whether JV or Varsity to help set up the field, goals, scorekeeper’s table. One volunteer is needed for home games.


*Scorekeeper/Caller training for 2021 will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd 5:30-8:30 and Wednesday, February 24th 6:00-9:00.  Click HERE to view training content.  This formal training is not a pre-requisite for volunteering for Scorekeeper or Caller but is helpful.  On-the-job training will be provided.
